We are experts, scientists, students and enthusiasts who participate in biodiversity conservation. We have a wide experience with conservation of antelopes and the whole ecosystem of West and Central African savanna.

ECOLOGICAL AND FEASIBILITY STUDIES

We provide ecological and feasibility studies related to antelope conservation in Western and Central Africa.

We connect our field and academic background to design all types of ecological, behavioural and other types of studies related to antelope conservation, including habitat suitability modelling. We are skilled in data collection and interpretation, writing of scientific papers, reports, case studies, feasibility studies and much more.

EX-SITU BREEDING MANAGEMENT

We provide expert advice on ex-situ, captive and semi-captive management of antelope populations.

We have an extensive expertise within an applied population management, based both on our experience from the Western giant eland conservation programme in semi-captivity in Senegal and from the ex-situ endangered species programme management in European zoos and other conservation facilities.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT TO THE FIELD PROJECTS

We provide technical support to field projects including the equipment, training, and data processing.

We have the field experience and you can count on us during the long days collecting any type of data and samples in the hot West and Central African savanna. We are experienced in using various field equipment as camera traps, GPS devices, smart phones, and satellite collars.

ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION, AWARENESS AND CAMPAIGNING

We provide educational and awareness materials for all types of public with special focus on Western and Central Africa.

We believe that the biodiversity and long-term species conservation is not possible without the support of local people and general public. We therefore constantly develop and implement environmental education and awareness programmes for everyone from school kids to general public both in Africa and Europe.

SUPPORT OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND ACADEMIA

Together with our home university we provide a tailored higher education programmes focused on wildlife conservation.

As academics and being mostly employed by the university, we are aware of the gaps in the higher education focused on the conservation of the large fauna. We can help universities build their own study programmes focused on large mammal conservation and wildlife-livestock co-existence.
